Family: Mother, who is in the wheelchair after being driven over by a drunk driver. Father who left before Jemina was born.

Past: A couple lived in Finland, North Europe. The woman got pregnant, but didn't tell about this to her husband, because he didn't want any kids. Later he did find it out and left. Just walked out the door and was never heard again. Jemina was born. Her mother and her moved to Japan, when Jemina was still very little girl. WHen she was about 8 years old, her mother got hit by a car that was driven by a drunk and lost feeling from her both legs. She had to start move around in wheelchair. Because of this she wasn't able to do the housework that well, so Jemina started to help her with those. Her mother wanted Jemina to have a good future, so she made her study hard. Around here, Jemina was just walking home from school, when someone grabbed her and took her into a car. It was a dangerous pedophile. He had killed lots of kids and there where Jemina was kept was lots of other kids there with her. They were all tied. Jemina unfortunatley was forced to watch what theguy did to the kids and just when it was about to be Jemina's turn, police broke in the building that was meant to be destroyed later. Jemina asked one of the policemen how did they find them. The answer was "we got help from a very smart person"... Time passed and when Jemina was old enough, she started to look for a part time job. She got a job at fast food restaurant. There the boss liked her. Too much, for she was being sexually harrassed almost every day. Now Jemina was taking care of her mother, studying, doing the housework and working in unpleasant atmosphere. She was over stressed and got sick very often until she got a brain disease called narcolepsy. Because of that she got soon fired from her current job and then they started to have money problems, for Jemina couldn't get work becasue of her disease. Later, though, she found this low budget abattoir, where the boss didn't care about her sudden naps, so their money problem got a bit easier. At school Jemina hardly was treated nicely and at the school she hardly got into people avoided her company. The Kira event helped her a bit though. She saw an opportunity to hide her face with a mask. If someone asked about it, she said the reason to be Kira. Though she didn't think that he paid any attention to her at all, because she was just some hard working person, who didn't like even arguing, so the real reason was just the fact that people could not see her face, and if they could not see her face they could not read the expressions, so this made Jemina feel a lot safer. Also, no one noticed if she was staring at someone... The mask limits her eating and her eyes' vision, so she has lost weight a lot and she keeps walking into things and people, and even stumbles upon things. This helps her keep up the dumb image, though. And to add little sugar on top of it, she has a plastic flower on her head. Also Jemina has been attacked by couple of rapists, but has managed get herself free from them and then ran away.

Love Interest: Jemina falls easily to guys that just simply are nice to her, but those have been only cushes and Jemina is able to only admire people from afar. So her crushes come and go. And she can not open up to people she does not trust.

Habits: When Jemina is feeling too shy to talk (and she usually stutters) she takes out her personal favorite hand puppet that looks like herself, and is called Gem jr. and makes the puppet talk for her, even if it is her talking. The funny thing in this is that, Jemina herself is very shy and silent, but the puppet is daring and a blabber mouth. The puppet always says out loud what Jemina is thinking.
