Yeah! I remember when I played the christmas version of Jazz Jackrabbit game! 'cause Sonic Team didn't make Sonic as a rabbit made what-his-name-was Jazz a rabbit! The games remind me of Sonic alot and I think thay got the idea from Sonic games. What I mean is if you liked Sonic games you liked Jazz Jackrabbit games too! ^^

Ahh, good old Sonic-With-A-Gun 
The guys who made Jazz were Epic Megagames (or later just Epic Games). They're also known from games such as Tyrian, Unreal/Unreal Tournament and Gears of War.
